We have a 1909 Bungalow and I am looking for a referral to someone who could restore our original windows. As far as I can tell, we have the normal issues -- excess paint, broken cords/chains, etc., but no time to do it ourselves.

Has anyone had a good experience with someone who does this kind of restoration in the Washington DC area, or could you suggest places to look?

Thanks.

hmmm....i work in the northeast--all of new england and new york...perhaps i could stretch it to the mid atlantic area if you are not able to locate a local restorer....been a while since i visited the area...you can try going to www.restorationtrades.com and search under your zip code for a local person.

perhaps you can contact me at jade@crocker.com and we can discuss the particulars of the project.......

....jade
