|
|
Hi... I have queen Anne windows with 18 little colored panes surrounding a larger clear middle pane. As you can imagine, it takes a really long time to finish glazing just one of these windows!
Last week, I finished a sash and had to leave suddenly before i could wash the glass with whiting and then couldn't get back to work on it for another week.
My question is how can I safely remove the residue on the glass now that it has dried?
Also... since there are so many little panes, how long can I wait before it is too hard to remove the residue? I other words.... should i stop after I've completed a few little panes and then clean those instead of doing all 18 and then cleaning them all which takes several hours?
Thanks for any tips you could provide!!!
