I just got off the phone speaking with one of their technical people of 16 years with the Sterling division and he said they are no longer making the linseed oil product, Olde time Glazing putty. The continue to make the Aqua Glaze and the Elastic Glazing compound.
The Elastic Glazing compound is a soy oil based product that they have manuafactured for many years. Does anyone have experience good bad or indifferent with this product? I have glazed a couple of repair jobs with it and found it similar to the linseed oil product to work with.
