Although I have been in the business a few years, I learned some valuable tips of the trade at the Window Workshop. I thought it a good mix of people--home owners and those interested in the profession.

I'm interested in hearing about how things are working out for you--Dean, Steve, Ed and Kristen......

When I first saw the photo on John's website, I thought "ok this menopause memory lost thing has gone too far. I could have sworn John took that photo." Then I realized that Steve and Dean are taller than John and it was a super imposed manipulation of reality. So, for all who care, I am not losing it!!

I hope we will all keep in touch with our individual projects.

When I got back from the workshop I was thrust into a messy window repair job that included a lot of termite damage and wood rot. We spent a whole week on this job and I must say I never felt more sure of myself deciding whether to replace the wood or use epoxy techniques. I was a lot less stressed. I also realized that half of the sashes (or is it sasheye)
I replaced could have had part replacements in a reasonable amount of time. The epoxy tricks we learned was made me more effective. The lead info shook my partner and I up enough to start to make changes.
