Welcome to the Forum. What a great old place you have.

You cannot buy these gutters as a "product" that is simply installed. These gutters are made on site from basic materials: wood, sheet metal, nails, screws, paint, etc.

Mario---Our house has a roof and gutter system similar to yours on it as well. I redid it one summer and it is still holding up. Also, thanks for the pictures of the houses around your town. Looks like some beautiful houses.

Kristopher--I would like to see some of the pictures if you get a chance.

John--Thanks for the replies. I have purchased some of your books and am going through the house restoring things when I get time. The house needs a lot of work and I work seasonal so I get to work on it during the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter. That is why I post on here sporadically. unfortunately the house has metal siding on it right now. It is amazing how much better these houses look with their wood exteriors showing.

Unfortunately in this small town, everyone wants to slap vinyl siding on everything and put new windows in all the houses. They are slowly destroying the beauty of the town. We hope we can be a beacon in the community when we are done.

John,

I forgot, are there any books or something that I could buy that would describe or teach me how to do these kind of gutters. I will need a new roof in about 5 years, so would want to do it then.
