I have been using the product Conserv Epoxy from Housecraft Associates and have liked the results. Unfortunatley Housecraft is in the process of selling the Conserv Epoxy line and the product will be unavailable for the near future. I am in the middle of applying Conserv to several door sills and need another product to complete these projects. Can you recommend a comparable and compatible epoxy that has a similar slow consolidating rate and curing rate? Is anyone familiar with West System Epoxy and might this be a good alternative? http://www.westsystem.com/

Many thanks to John Leeke for the publication Wood-Epoxy Repairs. I purchased this online along with the Window Repairs publication. They have been invaluable in my restoration and repair of my old Spanish home in San Diego.

Thanks in advance for all the expertise and experience out there.

I have used a number of epoxy products over the years including West Systems and Advanced Technoloy Repairs.....Abatron is my product of choice....LiquidWood is used for consolidating the damaged wood fibers and as a 'primer' for the WoodEpox putty. I find the WoodEpox is much easier to work and apply than others I have tried. I have visited work that I completed years ago and all is well.....

To assure compatibility with Conserv, contact Abatron at www.abatron.com

Good luck......Jade
