I've got a total of 8 fixed windows throughout my house. I don't plan on disassembling these so what are the recommended products to glaze these in place?

I should add I'm in Southern California so outside temps are about 8010 and lows are 605 with low/mid humidity for the next two months.

How long should I wait till painting over the glazing?

you'll need to wait 5 days to a week depending on the glazing putty you use.

glazing in place won't be any different than doing it in a shop but you need to make sure it isn't going to rain. putty = oil based, rain water = water based ;). they won't mix and will affect adhesion if they get wet.

I know this post is 5 years old but I figured someone might come looking for the answer to this question. The product I use for glazing windows in situ is Sarco Dual Glaze. It takes about 2 weeks to skin over enough for painting. It is designed for wood and metal sash to be glazed in place and responds well to UV and the weather according to the manufacturer and my experience.
