I have a rotted sill to repair.

So far, I scraped out the rotted termite areas along the sill and want to do a dutchman repair

At the sill bottom where the sill meets the stucco wall- there was crumbling stucco pieces which created a gap after removing them. Do I need to fill the space with new stucco?

The sill corner shows the deepest damage- crumbling stucco and rotted termite damaged wood.

Plan to hand saw or use HF oscillator to carve out repair site. Is it better to cut at an angle or straight? I have one salvaged sill to use for the repair so I am nervous about making a good mate.

I will pre treat and prime all sides before attaching. One third of the original sill was replaced- a portion can be seen from the attached photos
