|
I need to replace the vertical parts of a window frame. The horizontal ones are original and made of heart pine, the just reproduced sashes made of mahogany. What type of wood should I use for vertical parts? Mahogany would be good but expensive and hard to work with.
I've followed this chart - posted on this website,

Any recommendations? Thanks. |
