I don't offer a warranty. A warranty is a legal construct designed by and for the benefit of manufacturing corporations to get consumers to buy their products when both the corporations and consumers know that a certain percentage of the products will fail too soon. Essentially, a warranty is a form of fake trust. The consumer "trusts" that the product is good, and if it isn't the corporation will make good when it fails, which the corporation may or may not do.
In my work I develop authentic trust with the people I work for, so a warranty is not needed. They trust I will be doing good work for them.

My initial contracts include a followup phase of the work one to three years later to make any needed adjustments or refinements to the work. Some people think this looks like a warranty, but it is simply how long it takes to do best work. After that followup phase of work, my window work typically drifts along for 2 or 3 decades without needing any further attention.

I also offer short-term and long-term maintenance contracts. So, if someone wants a 5 or 10 year maintenance contract I will do that. Some say that looks just like a 10 year warranty, but it is not. A warranty is based on product failure. A follow up phase of work and a maintenance contract are based on ongoing good works.

I simply don't care to play the "corporate business" game, and have found other ways to make a living out of helping people with their older buildings.
